Asthma Controllers

The most important asthma controller is inhaled corticosteroids, which work over time to reduce asthma attacks.

Transcript:

How do we keep people from having asthma? Asthma controllers are the way we say
that.
And the most important asthma controller that we have would be the
inhaled corticosteroids.
They take a bit to work though, actually close to two
months before that teeny tiny bit of steroid does full activity to decrease the
amount of ER trips, hospitalizations, coughing, wheezing, and shortness of
breath, but remember it's every day or else it's just not gonna work well.
